Wire and bead – ceramic sheath thermocouples in type K, N and type R, and S for high temperatures. This style of sensor is made in many different designs and materials – especially alumina insulators and sheaths with rare metal probes. We can manufacture any type and include special outer sheaths such as Silicon Carbide. For straight forward applications to 1200C , pythagoras – a mullite material – is very economical and suits base metals and rare metals. Call us to discuss your special design requirements
